Ok, kiddo screams herself awake when she needs to pass gass, and has AMAZING gas when she poops. SO I bought some Mylicon drops, thinking it would help her to be more comfortable, but my mom seems to think her gas ins't that major.
So how do you know if you should use them or not?
Re: How do you decide if baby's gas is Mylicon-worthy?
DD #1 passed away in January 2011 at 14 days old due to congenital heart disease
DD#2 lost in January 2012 at 23 weeks due to anhydramnios caused by a placental abruption
If baby is crying/screaming, then I definitely offer Mylicon. Needed it more when she was young - haven't needed it in a while.
My pedi said to use malox for DS. we haven't tried it yet but the mylicon is not working.
