f/u: scheduling frustrations

Thanks again, PennyLane!!  FYI, it's patient relations.  But I never had to go that far.

Update here.

FWIW, Nyes Rd. is at a scheduling disadvantage because they only have two docs on-site and another based out of the hospital who travels a couple days a week to Nyes Rd.  Apparently the docs are pulled every-which-way for meetings, L&D calls and on-call rotations, and Nyes Rd. just doesn't have the same ability Cherry Drive has to move things around and cover appointments, because of their limited number of docs and distance from the hospital.

For now I'm sticking with Nyes Rd., but I will inquire this week about the possibility of seeing a doc at Cherry Dr. in the future, since both facilities are equidistant for me.

Re: f/u: scheduling frustrations

  • Good i am glad you got it all worked out, and it sounds like you are happy with your CRNP Amy for your next few apt's.

Its nice to know that there is another office that you can go to if this continues, but hopefully they can hold the few last apt's you do have.

  • I'm glad you were able to get things worked out a bit.  I do highly recommend the Cherry Drive location as well.  Everyone I've met there has been wonderful.  I used to see CNMW Barb Smith and love her - if not for her I never would have known I have my clotting disorder since she's the one who had me tested after my blood clot when the ER Dr and family practive Dr did not.  Because of my increased risk I now have to make all appts with a doctor but haven't had any trouble thus far staying with one.  Good luck to you if you decide to switch.
