Twin Stroller and Snap n go

I went to the store over the wknd and checked out twin stollers and the tandem ones are really heavy! I could barely lift them

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a twin stoller that will fit through doorways but also accomodates car seats? If I buy the snap and go do i really need a stroller to accomodate car seats?

  • I would go with the DSNG. It is so light weight and easy to use.  Once your babies outgrow their infant car seats you will have a better idea of what kind of stroller you will want next.

  • having a DSNG is a great thing. You won't need to snap in car seats to any other stroller if you have a DSNG - at least I never once needed to with my son (and the single sng).

the Kolcraft Options tandem can also be used as a DSNG - so if you want to just buy one stroller- that one is great b/c it does both.... it's what i plan to get. I also have the Valco side by side for longer trips/walks in the park, etc.

  • get the dsng...it is awesome & so lightweight.  I was so sad when my babies outgrew their snugrides & we couldn't use it anymore

We now use the baby planet twin turbo...it's heavy, but it's a good side by side, fits through doors

  • I agree with just getting the DSNG to start with. Once you've used it for a few months, you'll start to figure out if you want another tandem or a side-by-side, what features are important to you, etc.

  • I had a love/hate relationship with the dsng.  I loved how easy and light it was... hated how hard it is to steer Smile

That being said I still occasionally use it.  It's the easiest thing by far.  Now we have a BOB which I love for long walks... but it's a beast.  I actually love my sunspeed duo (got it for super cheap, thanks to the bump ladies for the heads up) to keep in the car for quick trips.  It's light and easy!
