I don't think there is anything wrong with it. Its a nice name. It just makes me think of Mike Meyers in the bathtub singing "Hello, my name is Simon! And I like to make Drawrings!"

It was our boy name for a few weeks - I really love it!  We ultimately chose a different name, but only because we noticed that it was starting to become too popular around here.

It's very high on my boy's list (at least for a mn) b/c it was my great-grandmother's maiden name.

I hesitate to use it as a fist name, since there is a little teasing potential with "Simon Says".

My cousin just named her little boy this.  It's not too common in my area and I thought it was different.  I don't really like it but if you do then go with it.
