Um, M would like some, um tips, to produce.

    If he is a pro at masterbating it shouldnt be any problems.  If he's not then you can give him a hand no pun intended.

    Alot of girls from another board I belong to always helped their dh give a sample.  And alot of them got very creative lol

    they should have given you instructinos - ie- you can't help b/c if you touch = contaminated, don't touch the tip of penis to the cup, etc.  Keep the sample warm when you are driving it there by tucking it in your pants/shirt, etc.

    DH's samples were always better the 2nd day for some reson (we always had them done back to back).

    He'd just spank it - no special technique, lol.  A few times he had to do it in the doc's office- he was standing in the MIDDLE of the room b/c he didn't want to sit down or touch anything in the room knowing what goes on in there all day long, lol.

    DH disappeared into our room w/ the computer for 10 minutes. ?Good times.

    DH had to have 2 SA done.  He was also told that intercourse with a condom was ok.  If he chose to use that method then he just had to be very careful when pulling out and try not to comtaminate the sample when transferring it from the condom to the little jar.

    my doctor said under no circumstances could I help, you an contaminate the sample. BY ALL MEANS no using the mouth to help out, also he needs to make sure he gets as much in the cup as possible, even the pre-***

     

    you have an hour once the sample has been taken to get it to the lab.. have fun

    DH has done this 7 times - well, one SA and 6 for IUIs.

    He's always had a little trouble because he had to do it dry. I have "helped" him, but we basically just fooled around and then I left him to do his work.

    Also, the volume that he produced always made me nervous! It was such a tiny amount and didn't quite cover the bottom. Neither the lab report or RE ever commented on it though, and he had good numbers so I guess it isn't an issue. I know others have been a little freaked out by low volume so I just wanted to mention it's not a big deal.
