Is it pronounced like "pearce/ pierce" or do you pronounce the -s at the end? I have a coworker whose son is named Piers and from the way she pronounced it I thought it was spelled Pierce until I saw it written. And if it is pronounced "pierce" then what spelling do you like best, Pearce, Pierce, or Piers? Thanks.

Re: Pronunciation of the name Piers?
Mom, why are you washing my feed in the sink?!
This.
Piers I say with a Z sound at the end like peers (peerz)... or Pier one.
If you want an s sound at the end, I'd go with Pierce, which I think is a nice name. Very blueblood/preppy, but still cute especially if that is what you're going for.?
In England (where this name is more common), Piers is pronounced like two "piers".
(I know two british guys named Piers).
ditto.
piers = "peerz"
pierce = "peerce"
agreed
This is correct
?
Agreed?
Piers= peers
Pierce- like pierce your ears?
