It was such an amazing feeling... I got to sit for an hour and half doing kangaroo care and she did so great, she was barely using the ventilator and her vitals were better than they have been in the incubator.  Now if only her sister could get well enough to be held.

Congratulations!  I remember the first time I did kangaroo care.  It's an unexplainable fuzzy warm feeling to bond with your baby like that.

Aww, that is the greatest feeling!!!  I know what you mean about holding her sister, I haven't held Ayden yet, and I am dying to!!  Hope you get to hold her soon!!

Ok, I am just lurking but your post made me tear up.  I am so happy for Allie and hope her sister gets stronger quickly.
