I am so very sorry for your loss and for all you have to deal with now. I also have a family member who has battled depression for years and come close to losing the fight. I urge you to see a professional even though it will be difficult to face. Depression is a vicious disease and it hurts everyone affected and their loved ones.

With your daughter so young, perhaps there is a therapist who works with play therapy somewhere nearby that could help her, and you to know how best to support her. I am so so so very sorry for everything. I know the shock and horror you are going through and I am sending you all the support in the world. My condolences to you and your family.

We have dealt with suicide in our family, and I know how difficult it is to deal with the death of a loved one under those circumstances.  Please get counseling for yourself and your daughter--it will be so important for your healing process.
