attended first of three adoption seminars

it was 2 hours long and it was great to meet others who are going through the process.  it was also great to meet a couple that adopted two children and also an adoptee young lady.  next week we will meet birthmothers.  it's required for our license.

 moving along:)

After 7 years of marriage and 5 unsuccessful IVFs, we have been granted the gift of adopting a baby boy, born 4/21/11.

    yay!!! it feels good to move along, doesn't it?

    we just had our fire inspection and our safety & sanitary inspection on our house this morning. two more things to check off the list! :-)

    That's great! I really think the best part about seminars, group "therapy/workshops" and even expos is just meeting other people who are in a similar place as you.

    We are not required to do any type of training but we seek out seminars and we have a group that we meet with. I just love going to talk to others in person.
