Yes. You can also use it to make some of your maternity pants that don't fit quite yet a little tighter. They are becoming easier to find and I want to say I just saw them at BRU, but I am not positive. I used mine after Brooke was born to wear with regular shirts so when I nursed, I wasn't flashing everyone my belly. I wish I had bought it earlier.
Bella Band makes a brand especially for Target, called Be. I have one from there and you can also buy them at Motherhood, where they're called the Tummy Sleeve. I also have a couple original bella bands. I love mine. They smooth out the lumps and make everything fit better.
Bella Bands (the originals) are kind of expensive, but the ones at Target or Motherhood are only like $14 or $15.

And I meant to mention, you can't tell a difference between the original Bella brand and the knockoffs.

I just saw the BeBand at Target the other day. I'm thinking of getting it just b/c my belly is getting so big that it's starting to push my maternity pants down. I've never tried one with regular jeans, but I'd imagine it could be helpful with maternity pants too since they don't always like to stay up.

I had orignially wanted to get the BellaBand, but my husband came home with the BellyBelt - which I've absolutely loved. I haven't had to buy a single pair of maternity pants. Unlike the BellaBand, the Belly Belt is an extender that (you get 4 sizes in a package) and it buttons on to your existing buttons/slides (each package comes with buttons and slide extenders). They've been great, and as I've gotten bigger I've simply had to move up a size. - It was the greatest 25 dollars I've spent.
I have one from Target, and it's fabulous. It's a simple but wonderful invention, and I've told so many people that it would be useful for non-pregnant people too. I got so many extra weeks out of my pre-pregnancy pants!

It says: (18 weeks) wear with pre-pregnancy jeans unbuttoned, (25 weeks) holds up too-loose maternity jeans, (32 weeks) keeps belly from pushing pants down, (post partum) - helps with too-tight pre-pregnancy jeans.
