Beets stain, don't they?

Just made a batch of beets puree for putting into foods in the future.  DS hadn't ever tried them, so I gave him a spoonful as he walked by.  He then immediately went and gave his lovey a kiss.

Is Gus going to look like a vampire bit him forever now?

    Thought so.  Any remedies for removing said stains, or is the poor stuffed dog doomed to have teeth marks on him forever?

    soak a piece of white bread in water and set on top of beet stain. it should absorb some of it. then soak in 1 part laundry detergent-1 part vinegar & water. rinse. apply laundry stain remover & wash.

    I spilled beet juice all over my shirt when pickling eggs for Easter.  this took the stain out completely.

    I made beets over the weekend and got some on my shirt. ? Oxi Clean Max took it right out.
