    Joe wants me to take the severance.  He's annoyed and wants me out of there.  I'm glad he feels that way because I'm not sure I could put myself through the anxiety of going to work there every day wondering if they were going to can me that day or not.

    So I will take the summer off, play house (insert smiley here), and see what happens around August timeframe.  I'm not sure I will ever go back to Corporate but we'll have to see how that pans out.

    I'm totally w/Joe. I feel it'll probably happen eventually so you might as well leave on your terms (somewhat) and get paid. Imagine getting FIRED and not paid at the end...screw that.

    Take the summer, keep looking in the meantime and enjoy your kids.
