SIL just called me (not the IF one the bad advice one) She is buying me a necklace from her friend that makes jewelry.  She was describing all the necklaces for me to choose.  They all sounded pretty tacky, but I could't say anything because the friend that made them was right next to her.

Don't get me wrong, its really nice of her to buy it for me, but I doubt I will ever wear it so she is wasting her money.  I have very different taste than her.
