So after the whole thing yesterday, I e-mailed them asking if my order would be filled, and they said that they were sorry, but it would be cancelled. OK, whatever, I kind of expected that.
Then I see here that so many of you have orders that WERE filled and are on their way to you. Which makes me think that the only reason they aren't filling MY order is because I drew their attention to it (dumbass move by me).
So I e-mailed them again, just asking why they were honoring the code for some people, and not others, and inquiring as to why my order status still says "processing", and also asking for some receipt or other proof that my credit card was refunded, if they are in fact cancelling my order.
Here's the response I got:
Thanks for taking the time to contact us.
The coupon is not valid online. It is a one-time use only promotion to be used in store and customers must present the physical coupon to take advantage of the savings. Also, customers must use their LB credit card to take advantage of the savings.
That doesn't really make sense and definitely doesn't address my concerns. It still p!sses me off that the only reason I'm not getting my order is because I asked about it, but at this point I don't even really care. I just want my order to show that it's cancelled and proof that I got my $ back.
Ugh, what a pain.

Thing is, I ordered at the same time, if not sooner, than some of the other girls that are getting their stuff. I did e-mail them back, and I just got another response from Lane Bryant, here's what it said:
Once we have cancelled the order and it shows cancelled and if we have billed your account $8.94 then we will credit your $8.94 back onto your account. At this time we have not billed you for the order. As for your friends I do not know why they slipped though.
???? - OK. So they haven't yet billed me, but are they going to, then credit it back?
I'm jealous of you girls that "slipped through" :-)
I'm sorry you might not end up with your order. Hopefully it is just processing and it'll go through soon.
Have you checked your cc or debt? When I got my order confirmation it said that I wouldn't be billed until things have been shipped. Part of my order is being shipped seperately and they didn't charge me the full amount, just for the items that were shipped.
I would find it hard to believe that they wouldn't refund your money if they don't fulfill your order.

My order was delivered today. But it was only some of it, one was my full first order that cost $36.12 (2 bras, 3 panties and a purse) my 2nd order was cancelled (2 bras, earrings and a purse) and my 3rd order shipped and delivered only one thing from it (tote bag) and cancelled the rest (2 bras, a purse and a pair of panties) They really should have an organized way...either cancel everyone or cancel no one!
Alison, I don't think it was just because you brought attention to it, my friend had an order similar to yours and hers was still listed as processing on the front page and then cancelled on the 2nd page.
I think everyone would be way more understanding if they were consistent with their cancelling/fulfilling orders!
Lots of ladies are posting on other boards that they got "shipment confirmation" emails but then when they go to the UPS (or fedex or whatever) tracking site it says something about "Return to sender"... like even stuff that got shipped is being cancelled and sent back to Lane Bryant... so it sounds like they are trying not to let anyone who took advantage get the stuff they ordered...
Yes - this exactly. And like others have said, it wouldn't have p!ssed me off near as much if they were consistent in how they were handling these orders (cancelling all or sending all), or heck, if they even gave me coherent, responsive answers to my e-mails to customer service.
