Specifically on brands I haven't heard of like wishes and kisses, garanimals, faded glory, child of mine by carter's...what do you think? They are so inexpensive, so does that mean they don't hold up well? Or they aren't soft enough for baby's skin...what do you think?
Re: What's the low down on walmart baby clothes?
I LOVE Walmart baby clothes. They all hold up really well. I think they last longer than Target's baby clothes. Last summer I bought a ton of stuff for the girls. It still looks brand new this summer and they wore them a lot last summer.
I don't think it is necessary to buy more expensive baby clothes, especially since the baby won't be in it for more than a month or two.
Oh, and the Carter's line at Walmart is very nice and soft!
I'm definitely not a walmart fan all the time but I actually agree with MrsJewell about the quality compared to Target. Target clothes seem to shrink a lot and I haven't had that problem with Walmart. Granimals has been around since I was a little kid and used to be sold all over the place...and Carters is the same as the main store (IMO). Can't beat the prices there - especially for play clothes. And honestly the quality of the granimals tshirts is better than children's place and definitely better than Old Navy. (I hate ON for Ryan....the tshirts ALWAYS shrink and are much smaller to begin with than any other brand).
I love the stuff at Walmart for the kids. The Garanimals are my favorite. I've had stuff that has lasted through 3 kids, 3 rough, getting dirty in the dirt, rough housing, playing with worms and markers kids.
And as long as you pretreat the stains and soak and use a good detergent, I haven't had much issues with their clothes getting ruined. I love shopping online, they have $ .97 shipping on most of their clothes.
