We start the routine at 6:30 and she's usually asleep by 7. She's up at 6:30 in the morning and does not usually take a nap (with a nap she's up way too late). She's 3
DD#1 is creeping towards 8ish or later. She used to be closer to 7 and still is when she doesn't nap, but if she takes a nap, she's usually up until at least 8ish. We usually give the girls a bath and then let DD#1 play a board game or do some other "big girl" activity after putting DD#2 down. It gives her some time to wind down and still a relatively quiet night.
DS (age 2 years and 3 months) was going to bed at 7, then 7:30, and in the past couple of weeks it's somehow crept closer to 8 too. Tonight I think I turned off the lights at 8:15. But the later bedtime seems to work better for us, because it's just before DD goes to bed, so we get them both ready for bed at the same time. Also, DS has gotten a lot more interested in reading and wants to read book after book before bed!
Re: What time does your 2 1/2-3 year old go to bed?
He will go to bed whenever, but we usually try to put him down around 730-8.
Benjamin likes to go to bed earlier, and we like for both of them to go down at the same time, so 730 is about in the middle for each of them.
He used to sleep until 830, but now wakes closer to 7. Bummer, especially when Benjamin sleeps in on a rare day.
Me with my littlest.
