I was out of my element: Bought a Hot Wheels thing today

I say "thing" because I'm not sure what exactly you call it.  But it's a ramp and loop and all kinds of other little car contraptions.

It took me a while in that department because looking at all of that "boy" stuff, with the 'screaming at you' packaging was making my head hurt.

But I bought a ramp/loop thing for DS's cars, most of which he inherited from MH.

And brought it home.  MH set it up and the boys played with it.  Now, DS is in bed, and MH has reconstructed it to make one huge ramp and is playing with it himself.  Boys....

I can't believe I'm going to have all that boy stuff in my house.

And I'm the kinda gal that would much rather have a house filled with cars, trucks and trains than pink princess and Barbie stuff - LOL (I'm the girl that took the head off her Barbie when she was little to "see how it was put together" - I'm guessing that's diagnosable - haa ha!)

Love that your H is playing with it, though... priceless.

Whenever i'm browsing the toys section and come to the boys stuff, my head starts to hurt, too. However, I do love boys toys. I think they're fun. Kinda want a son (someday) so I can have an excuse to buy all of that stuff!

Benjamin has this HUGE carrying case FULL of hot wheels and air force fighter jets that Andrew's cousin gave him about a year ago; he's obsessed with them, and plays with them daily.  He uses them on his train table, so I guess I should get him some tracks, or something...

That is funny! I came home from work last week to find DH and my brother playing with DS's leggos. Then when I went to bed and I could hear them shooting each other with DS's nerf gun.

Yep.  D gave him 3 cases of cars.  It's crazy.  And let me tell you how badly they hurt when you walk on them.

Cool, thanks! Do you have Geotrax? I keep thinking I should get some but I hate toys with pieces. If you don't have them, maybe I will do a post about them to see if I should get them...
