Stealing pregnancy tests?!?

Had a few minutes this afternoon so I stopped in the $ Tree to see if they had any tests. There was a sign that said pregnancy tests available at the checkout. Ok....walk up to the counter and ask if they had any left. So out of curiosity I asked "Do you really have people stealing the tests?" The guy snickers and said they have had problems twice now where the computer said there was 50 and they didn't have any. WTH who steals a $ pregnancy test. Got my laugh for the day!

My Dollar Tree has this sign up too. Thanks skanky thieves for making ppl who actually want to purchase an hpt have to ask and 18 y/o boy for one!

someone posted the other night that their $store stopped selling them completely. thank God mine has them still.

though they did say they weren't carrying the OPKs any more

Yes they really do. My cousin was 17 and thought she was pg and didn't have any money. I asked her if she wanted to go to the store with me and I would buy her one... Her response: "No don't worry about it. My friend is going to steal one for me"

I said "get your a$$ in the car... I'll buy you one. She can keep her stolen test!" I was so mad!

Tests at Walmart have freakin' security sensors on them....apparently they are routinely stolen. Of course the sensor went off for me because the cashier forgot to de-sensitize (?) it.

If you can't afford a $1 test, why are you even taking a chance and having sex? I understand people go through hard times but that doesn't give you the excuse to be irresponsible.
