Congrats on the VBAC, was that a hard choice for you to make? Was your doctor fully supportive? I'm considering it, but the only people I know that are for it are the nesties on here. Everyone I know IRL is very anti-VBAC because of the risk. I'm on the fence, but a vag delivery would be so awesome (i think) to do...
Re: *KAP*
my OB was super supportive and the hospital I delivered at has one of the lowest section rates in our state. I was still nervous, though-everything I had read and researched basically made it seem like the medical community would just set me up to fail. But, everyone at the hospital was so fantastic-they all wanted it as much as I did.
check out ican.com you'll find there isn't that big of a risk to a vbac
I wanted to do it b/c I didn't want to recover from surgery with a toddler at home. I gotta say, though....it was a totally emotional experience-I'm glad I did it!
That's my thing too- I won't be able to "take it easy" as much as I did with #1. I'll check out that site-- thanks!!
So is this recovery much better then the first?
