than your H?
I find that my H lets me look into things like childbirth classes, pediatrician interviews & questions, baby care books, registering, baby items and so on. I suppose it's because he's clueless about babies and really doesn't know where to begin. He figures that I know what I'm doing so I think he just looks to me rather than taking intiative. But sometimes I wish he'd research things on his own.
Am I the only one?

Absolutely.?
?In his defense, though, once I pick up the ball and make a list of what needs to be done, he will run with it if I'm having trouble getting everything accomplished. Major case in point: I'm terrified of not finding the right childcare situation...and so I've procrastinated. He's picked up the reins on that one (thankfully) and has taken over some other tasks that he knows will help when I'm tied up with other things or not feeling well (he's doing a lot of the shopping and cooking lately, which is a huuuuge help.) So while I've absolutely done the lion's share of the baby prep, he's definitely pitched in where he can so it's definitely a team effort.
Same here. DH and I naturally divide up research/prep work. Since "baby" falls under "medical" (one of my areas), I have taken the primary role. I don't mind. I enjoy it, and he is good about providing input when I ask.
Plus, he's been busy with other baby prep-work, like replumbing the house, waterproofing the basement walls, and researching a "family car." I feel like we're both preparing for baby, but we just got different lists.
Ah ha! Same here, actually. He researched our family car and has been working on the house non-stops since I got pg. And he's been working OT since December to pay off some bills. So again, we're each doing work that fits our personalities and capabilities.
