DS has been eating cereal for about a month now. He's had both rice and oatmeal and seems to really like them both. The pedi said we would talk about starting fruits & veggies at his 6 month appt. which is in two weeks. I'm wondering if it would be okay to go ahead and give him some cereal with fruit mixed in now. I think he'd really like it, but I have a little hesitation because I've heard that you should always start veggies before fruits since fruits are so sweet. Any advice would be great!

"our IF story"
Mostly BF until the last month or two when I couldn't keep up with how much he was eating! I now just BF morning and night and he gets formula the rest of the time.
DD is bf and we stared cereal just after 4 months...about 5 mos we started veggies and are still with that. She is 5 1/2 mos and has cereal for breakfast and we do a veggie for dinner. So far she's had peas, green beans and squash and has done well with them all. I've never mixed cereal with anything but water or bm.
GL! It's soooo much fun watching DD eat from a spoon...soooo cute:)
