And now for something completely different...

I want everyone to know that I do still have sunshine and puppydogs in my life so here is my second not so bitchy list....

I love this board for the wide variety of people that are on it.  Different opinions are what makes us all interesting.  I sure as hell would not want to be on a board that only had people just like me!

I love my DH and tell him so often.  Some days I can't even believe the beautiful family that we made together.

I am so greatful for everyone else that makes up my extended family.  My "village" is strong and I and so thankful for that.

I've noticed that as the economy gets worse, people are working harder and harder to help their neighbors and do the right thing.  I love that.  I hope we continue on a path toward a country of "we" instead of a country of "me."

Easter candy tastes way better when you get it 75% off on the Tues after.

There are some really awsome shows on tv right now.  They take me on journeys without having to leave my living room.

So what things make you happy right now?

Re: And now for something completely different...

  • I love that DH is in dental school and pursuing his dream.  This has been nearly 10 years in the making.

I love the people on here as well.  I have met 2 girls IRL, and they are both awesome.  It's nice to have friends with kids, as most of my friends do not.

I love that the sun is shining and the rain is gone.  It makes for a long day when it is cloudy, windy, cold and rainy.

I love thinking about moving back out West.  In a few short years, hopefully it will be a reality.

I love Diet Coke and chapstick.  I could not live without either one.

  • What a nice change of scenery.

I love my DH and how hard he works so I can be a SAHM

I love that DD is fully potty trained - it's so much easier to clean up

I love that my neighbor boy takes in my garbage cans for me

I love that DD loves to cook with me and that I have all of my family around us and my sister is my best friend.

  • I love that DS is in a really fun stage. We can run around and be crazy, but he still loves to cuddle.

I love our new preschool. DS is getting help with PTing and he doesn't come home and throw fits all night long. I'm not counting the minutes until he goes to bed anymore.

Our cruise is only 11 days away!!! Even though I am stressing about packing, etc., I am really looking forward to 4 days away. And I'm really happy that DS can come with us and still have his own fun at the kids camp.

  • I love that I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel RE: our housing situation. It will be really odd to live in my own house again, with all of my stuff!

  • I love that I have a boss who is flexible and is letting me work from home while I recoup from my knee surgery. Now if I could stop effing off on the Nest...

I love that my surgeon was able to repair my knee, saving me from a lifetime of arthritis. I'll take 4 weeks on crutches if it means no arthritis. I take back what I said about him being void of personality.

I love that my DH has stepped up to do everything around the house without complaining at all. He's refusing to hire a short-term maid, which while I admire his drive, I wish he'd let it go and part with $50.

I love that I have family close to help w/ DD. While family can drive you insane, I'm looking forward to my mom helping me with DD on Friday.

  • I think it's hysterical that lari's kid is wearing the same pjs and same doofy grin as my ds.  Must be the jammies.

    I'm thankful for caffiene.

I'm happy that DS and DD are starting to vaguely both sttn again at the same time.  Even if they do wake up early, at least it's a long stretch of sleep.

I'm glad it's finally frigging warming up again.
