3rd Trimester

Ok ladies - time to toot your own horn

time to brag about something you love about yourself since you've been pregnant

me - I'm just glad I still walk over 2-3 miles a day and eat relatively well even though I know I'm gaining weight regardless of what I do.

Re: Ok ladies - time to toot your own horn

  • This is totally shallow & awful, but I love the porn start bewbs. I've always been self conscious about my barely A's, it's nice to wear big girl bras. Big girls as in not preteen sized.

  • I sleep... a lot. As in I just now got up.
  • Before last week, I was climbing 12 flights of stairs to work 3-4 mornings per week.  Then they started changing the locks on the doors and I got locked in the stairwell one day and just gave up.  I do try to walk more to make up for it though...but I don't walk as much as I'd like to since I'm trapped in the office during the best daily weather/time to do it.

  • I never had morning sickness and I'm carrying twins. Everyone thought I was destined for all-day sickness. Ha, I showed them!
  • I love my belly and the fact that I have always been plus sized, but I haven't gained all over and actually look pg as opposed to just large.

  • lets see I love my hair it so healthy and thick
  • This is flame-free, right?

I work out three days/week for one hour. I still fit into my pre-pg clothes (well, aside from the belly - but you know what I mean).

  • I'm glad that so far I'm all baby.  No one can beleive I'm carrying twins because I have almost no extra weight anywhere but my belly.

And no stretch marks either.  So far so good!

  • I am just proud and amazed I am still pregnant. I never expected to make it this far with our history but the modified bedrest seems to be doing its job. A week ago I would have said how proud I was to have not had any trips to L&D yet but I had my first last Friday at 28w2d.
    *** It's funny because I'm fat ***
  • I'm so right there with you!  I was somewhere between a 32AA and 32A.  All the fun pretty bras start at 34B ... so now, at least for a couple months, I can wear pretty bras.  It's a whole new world out there. ;)
  • I am proud that I made it to almost 37 weeks.  With DD, I was diagnosed with pre-e around that time.  I am hoping that this time it will stay away.

Just happy I'm not packing on the pounds (yet) so hopefully PP will be a bit easier weight-wise this go round.

  • My hair has never looked this good and I'm so glad that I'm all belly; people keep telling me that they can't even tell I'm PG if they see me from behind : )

  • I'm happy that I will probably gain 25 lbs exactly with this pregnancy. The last one I gained almost 40. Hopefully it'll be easier coming off this time around too.

Here here! I love how my hair just flows now and it's so much smoother. I'm also all belly and from behind you couldn't tell I'm pregnant. 3rd pregnancy and no stretch marks.

  • 1. I am plus sized and had lost weight up until week 26. I've only gained 10lbs so far and my face is actually thinner- and I NEVER thought this would happen.

    2. I don't have to cook dinner any more, DH does all the work AND he cleans up. ::swoon::

  • I haven't had a single day of morning sickness, all my weight gain is in my belly only and I still fit my pre-pg clothes (besides the belly) and I absolutely LOVE every minute of being pregnant! Oh, and forgot to mention the rocking, perky as can be porn star boobs that I've recently gotten... :)
  • I am proud of myself for handling this pregnancy (and soon birth) so well all alone.  It has been the hardest of the 3 pregnancies plus having my husband in Iraq since 13 weeks.  Plenty to stress about but I think I have been doing great so far!

  • I also still walk 3 miles per day. I mean, I took a little time off this winter when it was butta$$cold out, but I started back up again. I have gained weight that I can't possibly control, though, and I'm NOT ok with it.

I haven't had to change much about the amount of housework I do, even though DH wants me to, I don't complain much even though this really sucks, and I'm not freakishly emotional like I should be.

Oh. AND I painted my toenails about 3 weeks ago. Not sure I still can, but maybe.... That's pretty darn good!

This, except I still wear the same damn bra size I did PP. ?I don't know what's wrong with these things! ?They won't grow! ?But on the plus side, I have no stretch marks at all, so I won't complain.

Oh, and I still get up and go to work every morning, so I'm way proud of me. ?:-)?

  • In 8 months of being preggers, I have gained a total of 4 pounds.. YES 4 lbs.  I feel kinda worried about it, but doc says everything is perfect and not to change a thing.  Maybe it;s because I was overweight to begin with, but I laugh hysterically when my SIL (who was a beanpole) complains about gaining 30lbs and counting.
  • I love that I am still working out. There is really nothing I love about my body at this point. I love that there is a baby inside of me.
