When do OBs usually start internals?

I am 36 weeks today and I have an appt this afternoon. I actually kinda forgot that was coming up. Also, GBS test? I will ask today if they don't end up doing it, but I was wondering what my chances were to have that joy today. TIA

My doctor does the first one at 35 weeks.

Depends. They are all different.

Mine started just before 36 weeks.

I had my appointment today and got my GBS test.  I knew I was having it, but she did give me an internal (it kinda sucked) and I didn't know that was going to happen.  Good luck.

My first internal will be at 38 weeks...I think I get the GBS somewhere in the 35-37 week neighborhood.

My OB does 1 during the GBS test (you're naked and there anyway).  If they feel the head, they leave you alone until 40wks. 

I'm hoping they feel the head because I do not feel like being poked at every visit.

Depends on the dr but mine does GBS at 35wks and first internal at 36wks.
