they start to talk about position and checking position at 36 weeks ish. before that anything is fair game...and actually after that the baby can still reposition....but at 36 weeks, the Dr. will start talking about it. In my experience.
According to my OB the baby will still have a chance to move until very close to the due date. If your baby is head down and you're 32 weeks, then he will still have a chance to move again.
36w is the magic number where they start to worry about position, I have heard of babies flipping as late on as the onset of labour @ full term. Some babies flip back & forth until delivery.
My baby was breech until 34w, transverse at 35w & head down at 36 + 2w.
