Why will you go to 0-6 as opposed to Parenting?

I never notice anyone mention moving over to the Parenting board nor do I ever really notice any newcomers posting over there. They didn't start the tri. boards or the 0-6/6-12 boards until i was already in the third tri. with my second child, so it was just natural to move over to Parenting once you were done with BOTB. Ahhh, how the nest(er, bump) has changed!

I am a regular on Parenting(although, not as big a PW as a lot of the more regular regulars). What's the scoop? Why don't any of you plan to go there? Is there a negative association with it or do you just feel more comfortable posting on a board with more babies close in age to your own?

Me either, Oops!!! If I continue to post, it will probably be on 0-6. I doubt it will be as frequent as I do now though.

I mostly stick to the Parenting board, too. ?Back when Evan was born, I think there was only a Baby Talk and a Parenting board. ?Once I was there, I never really left. ?I check over here occasionally, but I can ask the same questions on Parenting, and I recognize more people over there.

I lurk on both.  But I'll probably spend more time on 0-6, just because I know the ladies on there will have more relevant advice than someone who has, say, a 5 year old.  I'm sure I'll continue to lurk on Parenting and post on there occasionally.

If there is less drama, I might go and stay on the Parenting board... It's going to be hell in 0-6 with a lot of the newbies that will be coming after we all go there... Just saying.

When I lurked on 0-6 month after Bennett was born, it seemed like more of a blind leading the blind type of scenario. ?:) ?I kind of liked getting advice from those with babies just slightly older than mine. ?And the ladies on Parenting mostly have really young kids-- and for the most part are still having more.?

I lurk on Parenting all the time, have so for about a year.  I like that board a lot and will probably move there rather than 0-6 but who knows.
