Best thing about being in hospital post-partum. The only nice nurse I had in the hospital put me onto it and stashed a bunch in the freezer with my name on them. I could just go and get one when I wanted. It was heaven.

Just freeze them. The granules that absorb wetness hold t he cold much longer than just water I think.

me either!!!   I finally had to ask for one and they brought me ice in a latex glove! EW!

My hospital had these pads with built in ice packs. They were glorious.

I had those!!!! lol

I think mine were just icecubes wrapped up in a little diaper package - they absorbed the ice as it melted. ?

dude!! That is what one of the nurses brought me the first time around- I was like, WTF?!!

I think I'll sue.

Mine brought frozen diapers as well.  It was wonderful!
