anyone read Ina May Gaskin books on childbirth?

They were recommended to me last night. I was thinking of getting these two

Gentle Birth, Gentle Mothering: A Doctor's Guide to Natural Childbirth and Gentle Early Parenting Choices by Sarah J., M.D. Buckley and Ina May Gaskin

 any suggestions?

My BFF couldn't recommend Ina May's book highly enough. ?She calls her by her first name like they're buddies or something. ?I reserved it at the library but it hasn't come in yet - looks like I might be running out of time. ?I did read Natural Childbirth the Bradley Way, and it has been a HUGE help to me. ?I reread it any time I get nervous or feel unprepared.?

I've read the first one and it is AMAZING!!! One of the best books I've ever read period. It's so empowering I really love it and would recommend that any woman facing childbirth reads it.

Guide to Childbirth is a fantastic book. I recommend it to anyone, especially those considering natural childbirth.

ETA: Yes, on the empowering thing. It def. is that kind of book.

I'm reading the first one. It's really great so far!Also, her book Spiritual Midwifery was reccomended to me,..I've heard it's also very good.

Another similar type book, not by her is Birthing from Within...It's great too. ?
