Chris' Developmental Interventionist's mother passed away last week. She'll be here tomorrow and I have a peace lilly for her as well as a card. Is that enough or should we do something more?
We've known her since the beginning of February. I love her! She's wonderful with Chris and has gone above and beyond for him. DH and I agreed that if there was a reason (cancer, etc) that we would donate in her name as well but I don't feel comfortable asking and risk making her upset.

I think it's lovely that you want to comfort her. If she's Catholic, you can always make a donation in her name and have a mass said.
The flower, as I said, is very nice. Is the obit in the paper? If it is, does it have any suggestions as to what the family would like done? Meaning.. a donation in lieu of flowers, etc(?)
Re: Should we do more for C's DI?
How long have you known her? How well do you know her?
The peace lily is a beautiful gesture.
