Hi ladies! I got some pretty exciting news today...I'm pregnant with triplets! I am in total shock, but am so excited at the same time. My dh is freaked, but I'm sure he'll be ok. I got my BFP 2 weeks ago, and today was first u/s, and wow what a day. Any advice from you experienced ladies would be much appreciated, I am kinda nervous, and just want everyone to be healthy. Thanks!
Re: Can I join?

H&H 9mos!
Welcome and Congrats on the news. I remember the days of shock and worry. But it gets better. Our triplets as you can see are 9 1/2 months old now. I suggest Dr. Luke's Book Twin, Triplets and more. Many of us triplet moms have blogs also. Mine is in my siggy.
I also suggest Tripletconnection.com. Its a board with triplet moms. Lots of help and resources. This is a great group of ladies to share the process with. Again Congrats! -Amber
Oh, congratulations on your triplet pregnancy!! And welcome!
congrats and welcome! i remember that shock all too clearly, even though it was almost two years ago now.
triplets are a lot of work, but worth every little bit of it.

CONGRATS and WELCOME!!!
I too can clearly remember the terror and excitement I was feeling at first. But it does get easier and once you get to meet your little ones, you won't be able to imagine life without all three. It is a lot of work and you'll probably not sleep for weeks (I know all moms of even singletons "say" that they don't sleep but with us, we really only slept about 20 mins TOPS at a time each night the first few weeks) but its sooo worth it. The pp's all said what I would've told you about Dr Luke's book. Read it and try to follow a lot of what it says for taking care of you. I did and was never put on bedrest or anything and I made it to 34w 5 days and they were all healthy weights at: 5lbs 10 oz, 5lbs 4 oz, and 3lbs 15ozThey spent only 5 days (for our girl) and 12 days in the NICU, too.
My other advice is think about getting a single and a double stroller that you can hook your carseats into. We spent a lot and got a triple stroller but its sooo big and bulky and we actually just use our single and double strollers about 98% of the time. Everyone is different, but for us I always have my sister with me when I go somewhere so its easier to take the two lighter weight ones.
