Chrysallys-where can you get MMR split?

I have been trying for 18 months because C and I can't have Measles or R but wanted to get Mumps for C and myself. There is a shortage and I can't even order it directly with doctors orders from the company. And Merck (sp?) is not making any more split until September either 2009 or 2010 because of cost. So we are going without.

If you have another avenue I would love to know, I have exhausted hours with NIH and the distribution companies as well trying to obtain it.

    I didn't know it was only a temporary hold on the split -- last I read in an article a month or so ago, the split was just no longer available....GL.  Hope you can find what you need!

    Is Merck making more?  I thought they had discontinued the split all together.  That's good news.  I hope you can get it before that, though!

    That is the latest I got in a newletter 2 days ago.

    But she said you can get it split and I want to know where!

    Well crap, now you guys are depressing me. I was under the impression from what I've read and researched that you could split right now. I wasn't even aware of the hold. I hope they drop it soon so you can get your mumps. :(

    Anyone have any links to updates such as that?
