Just got caught up and I'm with Kit.  It seems to be more of an issue with FMT then GP.  Not really my battle.  Why she would do a test post on ttc 6+ is beyond me, but most of the shiit that people do/say on here boggles my mind.

Just got back from lunch too. Not sure about historical stuff- wasn't here so I can't testify to anything and it would be douche-like of me to defend/oppose any past behaviors. All I know is that I am fond of Moo and SNM very much and stick to GP and Parenting boards only. Therefore, I wouldn't know much of anything else.

I think this is exactly what it is. I didn't think that posting on the WTW board about fashion was such a biggy. A couple of weeks ago, a few of us decided to actually talk about fashion and "what to wear." The fact that someone that happened to post on WTW posted a test on ttc 6+ is beyond me.

Well, I've tried to catch up.  I think I got the gist of it.  Not sure about all this old vs. new stuff so I'll skip it.  If Ms T or whoever did what she did... sack up, admit to being a douche and move on.  I'm not sure why her actions would have anything to do with this board.  She is not the fearless leader.  The stuff about moo... sure, what she did was stupid and she admitted to it.  She came clean and apologized to everyone involved.  She didn't hide behind the screen like most would.  I give her props for coming clean even though there was some potential backlash.  I'm still trying to figure out the rest.  Too much chit slinging and different stories.  My lazy butt just got out of bed.

Ditto. I didn't read it as an attack on GP in general. The post on 6+ just sounds like a bad judgment call to me.

I don't know much about the history of the TTC+6 board because I haven't been here that long so I don't understand much of this problem. The only thing I know is that for the past few days a group of us started using the WTW board to talk about other stuff not related to TTC and that way the GP board would not have to deal with that if they didn't want to. 

Last night we got a few test post and after a while we just ignored them. We tried to tell them that WTW was not a dead board anymore or at least we were trying to. I would never do a test on TTC+6 or any other board b/c I find them annoying. 

Now things have escalated so much that I'm lost.

I have been enlightened...but I have to admit, I now like GP even more than before.  I guess ignoring certain people, was tolerating them. Being new, I still felt like a guest.

If there's a TTC6+/FMT battle to be had, they can go to town in their posts. I don't have to care or read about it because it doesn't involve me.

Same goes for any puppies & rainbows/newbie drama/unnecessary flaming/AW'ing/AE's, etc that I find annoying. It's a public message board, but I don't have to pay attention to them.

I've been around the knot/nest/bump collectively for a long time. Boards go through all sorts of changes and trying to compare an old crew to a new crew is impossible. And why bother?  It's like going back to your old school, team, or sorority and trying to tell them how things used to be. There might be a few good stories, but in general--no one cares because it doesn't relate to them. They weren't there, so they're not connected to it in any way.

What someone calls "old gp" is all relative, so it doesn't even really matter, I don't think. Old GP to me is a year ago, to other girls it's 2 years ago, to other its 6 months ago. There will always be a cycle of girls and the board changes with them, so how that topic even started I don't know.

 Some things are more tolerated as the personalities on the board changes. It doesn't make it better or worse, it's just different. Either way, it has zero to do with what started all today's drama.
