Re: Things to Do

  • Milwaukee Zoo is one of our favorites. We took DD there at 3 months, while she didn't care too much she tolerated it. We look forward to taking her again this year.

  • We don't have kids yet but a few of our favorite things to do is The Milwaukee Zoo. Also, walking around any of the parks or the Botanical Gardens. DH loves to go to Lapham Peak up in the Waukesha area. Right now I'd like to go to the drive-in movie in Kenosha. I haven't been there in like 2 years and it was always good fun when I went.

  • we like going to marshfield, WI and going to Jurustic park and Foxfire botanical gardens. We also LOVE Wisconsin dells, everything about it, winter or summer it's great.... A little closer to home is Dells Mill and schoolhouse in Augusta, WI.

  • The NEW Zoo (northeast WI) is just north of Green Bay and is pretty great! My DH and I went last summer and there is a great lion exhibit (with cubs!!) and lots of hands-on areas. Also, I'm pretty sure it only cost us adults about $5 to get in. All ages would enjoy it.

  • We go to a lot of Brewers games, and we go to the zoo often in the summer.

We also spend a lot of time in the Lake Gevena area.

I love going to Harrington Beach and for walks around the neighborhood (Oconomowoc area).

  • The fantastic Saturday Morning Farmer's Market in Appleton, WI..

Granddad's Bluff in LaCrosse, WI (followed by a visit downtown to Wine Guyz, a super-cute wine and cheese bar)
