PP Bleeding?

How long is too long?  I am still bleeding today (it comes and goes) and I am 18 days pp.  Is this normal?

with my first pg I had on and off bleeding for about 7 weeks... I know at my 6w PP appt I was still having some spotting and it ended a few days later. The doc said it was fine.

I bled for 17weeks, with a one week break in there.  I also had a severe post partum hemorrhage so I suppose I was not normal.  I think 18 days sounds like it is within the normal limits.

Definitely normal.  With DD, I think it was about 6-7 weeks (very light for most of it, came and went, like you said, and she was a vaginal delivery).  With the twins, I am 5 1/2 weeks pp (c-section) and occasionally still have some light spotting here and there.  Everyone is different, of course, but I wouldn't worry at all if I were you.

I have been wondering about this too.  I just spot every now and then, but when I pump, it gets heavier.  I know this is normal, but it is getting old!

yea.. I didn't even make the correlation between the pumping and it being heavier but now that you say that, that is how it is with me too.  and you are right, it is getting old!

Mine was about 6 weeks as well.  So not fun.

I'm 8 weeks pp and still bleeding.  It's light and I only need a pantiliner, but it's really annoying.  Someone mentioned maybe I got my period, but I really hope not already.

OMG, 18 days and you're already on and off?!  You are lucky!!!  I started with the on and off after 7 weeks of hardcore pp bleeding, and continued to have on/off and spotting episodes until I was about 12 weeks pp.

agh.... I bleed for almost 10 weeks. Around week 6 or 7 it slowed down, but then it picked right back up for me. To be honest, it sucked royally and the day it finally ended I was jumping for joy.?
