I read some good fanfiction or reread one of my favorite books, stay away from DH so I don't bring him down too and just drown in a sea of chocolate and tears.
I usually stop at Starbucks on my way to work and get something really bad for me. Then I'll get take out or get ice cream or something (yes, I am an emotional eater....). If we go out to eat I splurge on a fancy drink, otherwise I have a beer or two at home.

Like Gidge, I am an emotional eater. On CD 1 I fill up on crap--whatever I can find. I do also tend to splurge on a fancy drink at some point in the first week or so of my cycle.
Also, confession: Sometimes, during the first couple days of my cycle, I don't take my PNV. Take that, uterus!?But don't worry, on behalf of future phantom babies, I start back up again just as soon as I have a fresh, clean dressing on my wounds.

Tylenol, Dr Pepper, wine, hot bath, trying not to cry too much in front of DH, and listening to sappy music every time I get in the car (and crying freely in there). Sometimes I add pizza to the mix b/c I definitely use food as a comfort mechanism.
Baby Boy O born 4/5/2010, 7lbs 14oz, 20", at 38w by c-section due to pre-e & failed induction
Down the usual advil liqui-gels throughout the day, cry my eyes out in the car on the way home so I don't depress DH anymore, have a glass of wine (or two or three) and wonder how in the heck everyone around me keeps getting knocked up ???? Usually by CD2 and 3 I am a little more out of my funk.

Throw back the advil, turn on angry sad music and yell and cry.
That's about it.
