Maybe you should keep the TTC 6+ and just make a new board for us.
Possible names of new board:
T-TTC Lite TTC 12+ Months
I'm sure someone else will chime in with more.
I agree. Good suggestions.
TTC #2, Operative hysteroscopy March 2011; IVF #1 long lupron protocol April 2011-cancelled due to poor response; IVF #2 flare protocol May 2011=hospitalization due to abdominal hemorrhage during ER and no fert due to MFI issues. Moving onto international adoption from Moldova January 2013!
as long as you're here today, is it really neccessary to have all of the "after a loss" boards... several of them are exactly the same as their non aal counterpart...
The truth of the matter is, most of us aren't nice. We are bitter because we have been in this situation for so long. We love to support and be supported, unfortunately where most of us are in our TTCing, 6+ is just a slap in the face. We get the OPK questions, etc and it makes us feel even worse for having to remember when we would have asked those questions. This has made us the 'meanies' because we are such a close knit group of amazing women.
The majority of us have been here since the beginning of this board and will continue to stay here after DX, procedures, BFPs, and birth stories. We are a hard group to categorize.
Even TTC 12+, I would feel would not truly work. We would get a vast majority of, "I've been trying for a year, should I see an RE? My doctor is a tool and gave me Clomid at 3 months because I wasn't ovulating but I belong here still!! There is always, "Well, I haven't been doing anything special really. DH and I are just 'BDing' and hoping, but it's been a year so I am entitled to be here."
I agree with the Snarky names! I think in within 6 months many will be over 2 years, if they aren't already. Then we will be in the same situation asking for a 18+ board.
"TTTC-lite," and we will still be getting peops popping in with questions about their first Clomid prescriptions. "Trouble" is relative, as we all know. IMO, TTTC-lite is just as misleading as TTC6+ (when does one graduate to TTTC?), and is just as likely to result in newbs feeling like they're being flamed for their often understandable questions about new diagnoses, crazy OBs, etc.
Therefore, even though I personally am not a big snarker, I think that something like "Snarky TTTC" or "IF and Friggin' Bitter About It"?would be helpful. It would make it more clear to newbies what they should expect when they get here.
Meanwhile, a name something like "TTTC Support" would be pretty accurate for TTTC.?

Re: ? for everyone before I change the name of the board
It's sort of fitting? Maybe the older folks will be happy with that?
If we're being honest though - this is better named Trouble Trying to Conceive, while t-ttc is really an IF board at this point.
(but maybe I feel squeamish because I haven't been trying for a full year yet)
Thank you for listening though.

I am so happy to see this post! I'm a follower, so I'll go along with whatever the group decides!
Anything to weed out the "I'm going to be on cycle 6 soon, should I try OPK's?" type of questions!

for example: parenting and parenting after a loss
That sounds about right.

I like all the suggestions. My favorites are:
T-TTC Lite
Snarky TTTC
and my personal favorite: Bitter Ugly and Barren.
Interesting! A naming project!

Bitter Bitches
Wow I leave and come back to great news!
I don't have an opinion on the name.
After 22 cycles and tube removal our IVF miracle has arrived! Detailed IF and IVF info in bio.
