  • Hi!  Good luck with your pregnancy. Montreal is such a fun city!

My DH is a born and raised Montrealer and I love it every time we go out there.?

  • Welcome and congrats on your pg!

I frequent the 35+ pg board too :-)  DH is originally from Montreal (Pincourt).  What part of Montreal are you living in?

  • just want to say welcome, and a big congrats for being pg with your first sticky one! very exciting :)
  • Thanks for the warm welcome! ?I'm right by Parc la Fontaine, between the crazy Plateau kids and the Latin Quarter. :)?

  • Hi Peppernut!  How nice to live so near La Fontaine!  We're just south of you on Papineau, for another month at least.  How is your pregnancy coming along?
  • P.S. DH is jealous of your job!  You must have some mad gaming skillz. ;)
  • HA!  My gaming skills are pretty meh, I'm a designer, not a pro Halo player.  Plus it's harder for me to actually enjoy playing, I always end up wandering around figuring out how everything works.  :)

I would love to say I can't complain, but I'm pregnant!  Of course I can complain!  I'm terrified that I'll miscarry, I worry about my symptoms (or lack of symptoms), the whole bit.  Oh, and I have bad hair.

How are you?  Looks like you're about a month ahead of me!  Which hospital are you going to?

  • The second trimester is a little bit reassuring because the statistics for m/c are so much lower after the 1st trimester.  I know I was very relieved to hit that milestone!  I'm doing well this pregnancy with the exception of persistent m/s which I've had and continue to have!  But a little gravol/diclectin makes my day just fine so I can't complain!  I delivered my first at Lakeshore on the West Island, in Pointe Claire.  I really enjoyed my experience there and would do it again with this pregnancy if we weren't moving out of Montreal this summer.  I've had friends who have delivered at St. Mary's and the Jewish though and also had very good experiences.  I would do personally do LaSalle hospital down south near Angrignon if I delivered in the city.  I've heard fantastic things from my local doctor friends about the maternal care there.  Where are you planning on going?
  • Royal Victoria. ?I had a heck of a time finding an available periantologist. ?I finally found one who was head of obstetrics at Royal Vic, but then she had to scale back her patients for health reasons. ?:( ?She switched me to someone else in the same group, and I'm happy with him.

    Where are you moving??
