Beta update

So my beta on Thursday was 10,000 and my beta Saturday was 15,019.

What do ya'll think? Acceptable increase? Are my levels just slowing down because I'm almost at 7 weeks?

The secretary gave me the reults and the doc wasn't available to answer the question. I thought I'd check with my "experts"!

Off to work now.... I'll be home at 1:30 am. Yuck. I'll check in tomorrow.

Re: Beta update

  • I'm not really sure, but I would think that if it wasn't right the doc would've called you? Waiting sucks. (hugs)

Exactly- some people never get much above 20,000 their entire pregnancy in beta's. I'd say your numbers are fine!

    3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml 4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml 5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml 6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml 7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml 9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml 13 - 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml 17 - 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml 25 - 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml Non-pregnant females: <5.0 mIU/ml Postmenopausal females: <9.5 mIU/ml
  • Mine slowed down significantly (I doubled twice in a week) last time. I was 5w4d, with a beta of 4055, one week later I was 16554 so I think that is fine. Did they test progesterone as well?

  • Sounds fine to me...the numbers dont always double once they get that high. Congrats! When do you have your next u/s?
