I hate the Holidays

I just don't understand why the grandparents think we need to visit them on holidays.We have 3 kids, 6 and under, that we have to bathe, dress, and pack for to have a day out. Why the HE!! can't they come see us. We had to go to my parents and then the ILs, and spend time with both. We don't have enough room in our car for 6 baskets full of candy and toys, kids, leftovers, and all the other junk that we have to take.

The new holiday rule for us is: If you would like to see the grandkids on holidays, come to our house. I don't care if you go through everything in my house, I just don't want to pack the entire car full to see you.

    I completely agree with you and I only have one kid. During the Christmas season DD was only 2 weeks old, yet we were expected to go to my Dad's!
