POLL: When do you test

I know the stats on hpt results, I'm just curious. I have this totally irrational fear of even buying tests until at least 14 DPO. I'm a firm believer in the 2ww and I'm convinced I'll jinks myself if I try testing early.

Do you test early (and if so, how early do you start) or do you wait?

Hi. I didn't test until 17 dpo. It was my first cycle that I temped and didn't get crosshairs until I took out a "sign". So after I realized that it was past the 2ww, I tested.

I've given up on testing.  I may test on Sat morning though bc it will be DH's b'day.  Even though I didn't even chart this month and have no idea if my timing was even close.

I like to wait until 14 DPO too, which I did this weekend and got a negative.

I usually start testing at 11DPO...I can't help myself.  This month I plan on waiting a little longer.

I used to start between 10-12 DPO. I wasn't charting when I got my BFP, but I estimate I was about 12 DPO based on previous months.

when I had a 12day LP, I was really good about not testing at all.

after I was put on progesterone and had a 19-20 day LP, I would test at 16dpo, per RE's orders so I knew when to stop taking the progesterone. (if I got a neg. test)

I POAS at 9dpo because I had a "good feeling", turned out to be right too!

Usually too early.  This month I had DH hide the $ store tests I had so I wouldn't be tempted to test early!  I did test yesterday at 13 DPO (or so) and got a negative.

I wait until the day after my period is due, but then again my luteal phase is pretty short (11 days on average).

I have a pretty short luteal phase so I've always tested at 8-10 dpo .. and always got a negative. This month I'm waiting until this Friday which should be 11 or 12 dpo - if I don't start AF first.

Tested at 10dpo, because there was a post on here about when the GP pregnant girls got their BFP.  Most said 10dpo, surprisingly.  So I decided to test then as well.  I got my BFP at 10dpo

i tested early the first month but now i'm also afraid i'll jinx myself so i'll just be content with a late af and will hopefully wait until 15+ dpo.

I usually wait until I'm at least 14 dpo since my luteal phase runs from 14-16 days.

I am a big believer in waiting until at least 14DPO, but I have so faltered on this one.  Once I tested as early as 6DPO, DH and I were both convinced I was pregnant even though we knew better...it was the POAS fever in our house, it just took over. LOL

I didn't test at all last month, just waited til AF.

It really depends on how my chart is looking. I try to wait until 12 dpo (my lp is 13 days), but have been known to test as early as 10dpo.
