MIL comment about my 3 yr old

We were at a restaurant yesterday and it was getting close to nap time so DD was going crazy.  Laughing, giggling, singing...all the crazy I'm getting tired yet still happy behavior.  MIL says, "When now I know what she'll be like when she's drunk."  WTF?!  We're 18 yrs away from that (legally), but I'm sure she'll do it before then.  I'm so glad we don't spend very much time with them.

I'd give her a pass. It kind of made me chuckle. My 3 yr old is the same way when she's sleepy and the way she slams back her cup makes me call her "my little drunk." I'm sure she didn't really mean anything by it.

I probably should cut her some slack.  She's the queen of the inappropriate comment so I just get tired of it sometimes.
