I was super wrong!!

My previous post said that "It didn't happen this month".  Well, I thought I had started my period, although it was just spotting and I was wrong.  By Friday morning I had decided that if nothing more came of my spotting I would re-test.  Well, wouln't you know that Good Friday would be the best Friday for me!  I am most definitely pregnant and I am still in total shock!!!  I can't complain that it happened so fast because we are thrilled.  I am still in disbelief that this is all happening.  I can't wait to hit up a book store tomorrow and would love any suggestions on which books are informative and exciting to read.  Thanks for letting me share this with ya'll!!

    btw- I have "Your pregnancy Week by Week" and "What to Expect When You're Expecting." You can have them both for $10 if you're interested.

    I also have "So That's What They're For" (an excellent BFing book) and some fun pg fiction books that I'm looking to rehome :)?

    In addition to Lauren's great rec's, read the Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy.  It's a fun, easy read!  Congrats!!  H&H 9 mnths!

    I second the Girlfriend's Guide.  I thought the week by week book was good but it doesn't give you all the info right away, so if you read it only week by week, you don't get info you might want to know ahead of time.

    Congrats!  We got PG super fast too...and were just as surprised!  Hope the next 9 months goes by smoothly!

     

    I would recommend Your Pregnancy Week by Week....also Belly Laughs...Jenny McCarthy...just a quick easy, cute read....

    Oh yes, I have that one too!!! I'll throw it in there as well. And Belly Laughs (though I can't put my finger on it.) ?I'd seriously love to rehome these... it's all part of my eco-friendly new lifestyle :):):) Not so much looking to make $ as I am to make space in my home!!!!!?

    Congrats!!! What a wonderful Easter weekend. :) Honestly, I didn't love any of the books I read about pregnancy. DH loved his book though: Be Prepared: A Practical Handbook for New Dads. It looks like a boy scout manual and is actually really informative and really funny. Best of luck for the next 9 months!

    Congrats!!! :) What a great surprise for Easter weekend!!!

    I agree with everyone on what books to read. If you can't borrow them from a friend, look on amazon for them cheap. 

    I have the Mayo Pregnancy By week book which I like and what to expect when your expecting which is good too. I ready Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy in like 3 days, but it was a good read!
