We never made out well with the sling (don't even remember what brand it was). My son was always so hot in it. We did love the Baby Bjorn though...I would definitely recommend it.
I use the moby wrap, and the new one from Petunia picklebottom called the Sojourn...one is a wrap and one is a sling, love both! The wrap is so nice on your back & shoulders!
Hot Sling- DD was in one from 4 weeks to 13 months and would still be in it if my belly weren't in the way. We also have an Ergo which I love, but unless she;s sick, DD doen't like facing out.
After the twins are born, I imagine the hotling will be part of my 24-7 wardrobe!

I'm looking at a Moby wrap, a Blue Celery sling/wrap, and perhaps some kind of comfy ring sling for easy in/outs (maybe a Kangaroo Corner sling?). I love the idea of "baby wearing"!
I also recommend the Hotsling! I love mine, and DD was also a fan. Like pp said, my belly is in the way now so it doesn't work anymore. However, we also have a Baby Bjorn, and we love that too. I would recommend getting both, if that is an option because the hotsling is size specific, and so DH has never been able to use it. But DH LOVES carrying her around in the bjorn because it is adjustable! He looks so cute with it!
I loved the New Native sling when I had my first baby. ?I'll be getting that one again (for DH too) and also a Didymos wrap. ?We do a lot of walking and will mostly baby-wear for the first few months instead of using the stroller so I want to have at least a few options.
Re: Slings
I like the Moby. My sister loved it, too. DH wants the Baby Bijorn.
