I had found online a bedding set that I thought I was going to like. I went to the store today to buy the crib sheet to make sure I liked the colors in person and check out all of the pieces. All of the pieces had a "Temporary Price Break" tag on them. Does anyone know if this means that they are about to be clearanced out? I bought the two crib sheets to bring home for DHs approval and planned to put the rest on my registry but if it is going to be clearanced, I want to buy it myself now. Anyone know? TIA
Re: ? for frequent Target shoppers
The discount on this stuff was only around 10% (maybe a little less for some of the items. I will probably go ahead and buy the pieces myself just in case. Just needed to know if I should get them all at one time or if I could space them out a bit.
No, it doesn't mean it is about to be discontinued. Sometimes the price cuts are just for a week or so (I think that some of the temp price cuts go that price all the time, but you never know which ones). If you add it to your registry and it is about to be discontinued, they will send you an e-mail letting you know it is about to be discontinued.
I was kinda peeved about them discontinueing bibs, burp cloths, and scratch mittens... It wasn't even a seasonal pattern and now I have to go back and add new ones to my registry...
