Am I the only one that finds it a little odd when people are out and about, but still updating this FB status? 

One of my friends updated from the bar she was at last night.  I see others updating from their hair salon and shopping mall.  Tell me I am not alone here.

I'm not even on FB that is how out of touch I am.  But I agree that it is weird to update from the mall or a bar.

It's basically the same thing as twitter, which I find very weird. Who cares what you are doing every minute of the day???

I noticed that people do that from their phone... and I think it's kinda silly but whatever! I'd say that i'd never do it, but as with anything (especially parenting!) never say never! LOL.

If anyone cares that much about where I am, they should know where I am already. If I put on FB that I'm going out for the day, who knows what psycho might try to break in. That might sound over the top, but people are wacky.

I'm with vccake.  Definitely a sign of the times.  FB is such an odd phenomena, as it is, and randomly enough, I care about a lot of what my "friends" post.  It cracks me up, mostly.

 

BUT< that said, I am not friends with a ton of "Out at dinner with the fam," kind of people, and rather people who are quirky and entertaining...

Or, just dumb, which is equally as entertaining.

DH updates from his phone sometimes. ?I enjoy reading other people's updates, no matter where they are.

I like it and I find it interesting/entaining to see how people update their status and what they deem important enough to share with their friends.

I'm friends with the "out to dinner with the fam" people and it's neat to know that they're all out at the park, flying a kite or something like that.

Though, I'm guilty of using my phone to FB a bit too, so take it for what it's worth.
