Registry Time??

is it too early to register at 5 1/2 months

Re: Registry Time??

  • I don't think so. You can register whenever you are ready. I plan to do it in the next few weeks.

  • No way.  I did it last month.  This way I have time to switch things around and make it final before my shower invites go out.

  • i registered at 17w haha. then again at 18w when i knew the sex. we went and added girly stuff. i didnt pick clothes or anything that would likely change before she is here. worse thing, itd be discontinued and id have to pick another. so whenever you are ready, go for it!
  • Are you having a shower?

I am not having a shower so I am not registering until around 30-32 weeks.

  • There have been posts where people register and they're only 15 weeks.  I think your fine.  Most people will do it after they find out what they are having.  We still haven't registered but neither of my showers have been given a date.  As soon as I have dates I'll register.
  • I created a wish list and then when I found out the sex of the baby I began my registry. Baby Bargains is a great book for a first time mom.
  • No, I actually started my registery online early in my 2nd Tri and than at 20 weeks we did the in store registery.  And like 2 weeks ago I went to BRU and updated the registery.

You can do it when ever you are ready.

  • I had planned on registering some time in the next few weeks, but my MIL asked me the other day if I would please register soon.  She wants to start buying and wants to make sure it's stuff we want so she wanted me to get a move on.
  • I was told by my MIL that I had to register at 20 weeks.  She viewed it and said I did not have enough stuff, to add more.  It is mostly her family who will attend my shower and I appreicate that they want to buy me gifts.
