Diaper cakes

Did you get one or have you ever given one as a gift? I'm thinking of making one for a friend's baby gift. They have tons of diapers and little items like teething rings, powders, pacifiers, etc on their registry and I think it would be cute, but I want to make sure it is actually a good gift.

I got one!  I loved it!  It had a ton of diapers, LOL!  Lasted us the first month, there were about 300 diapers in it.

I made one for a co-worker that is having twins.  I used about 96 diapers (left over from a case that C outgrew) 

I have a pic I'll attach but just wanted to let you know that the co-worker LOVED it and to me it was basically free since the diapers were bought for me and I used ribbon I already had.  I didn't add the extras because we're not THAT close but if it were for a good friend I would have added lotions and rattles etc...

Thank you both! That cake is adorable! What are the smaller ribbons attached to? I have quite a few left over diapers from my baby now that you mention it. The packages are all taped up in her closet. Maybe I will just use that. I think I will do rattles and lotions since they are close friends. Yay!

I think it is a great idea! If she has all those things on her registry, obviously they would love getting them!
