I think V.C. Andrews "My Sweet Audrina," a book about a little girl who was raped and then brainwashed by her parents into thinking she was actually the younger sister of the raped daughter who died in the attack.
And Marcelle takes me to Marcel the Monkey on "Friends" or Marcel of the many foams on the second season of Top Chef.

Wow, how awful.
Yeah. No one does freaky childhood trauma like VC Andrews.
I agree with the posters who suggested Audra. Either that or the original Audrey are so pretty. Audra Marcelle, Audrey Marcelle. Or if you like that "ina" sound, maybe put it on the middle. Marcheline is a form of Marcelle. Audra Marcheline or Audrey Marcheline sound sweeter to me, but honestly, it's just that I really didn't like that monkey or the guy on Top Chef.

Is Marcelle a family name? If not, I like something more simple with the first name.
maybe something like Jane......
Yes! It sounds very old Hollywood to me. In a good way.
Wow, how awful. ?
I thought of the same thing.?
LOL at Marcel of the many foams.

A friend of my mother's named her daughter, Marcella Clare. They call her Marcie, as a nickname. What about Marcella?
I do like your choice, though.
