My husband is an Andrew, what do you think of Drew for a girl? Any suggestions for a middle name?

I don't like Drew for a girl. If you do end up using it, definitely come up with a girly middle name so that people who hear both will know she's a girl and so that she can use it as an option later in life if she doesn't want a boy name. There's other neat ways to name a girl after your DH. Andrea, Ann, Anna, Andie (this is kind of boyish sounding too, but I think it's much better than Drew).

I went to college with a girl named Dru. It's one of those names that I don't mind hearing for a boy or a girl.

I would say it is NMS, but if you both like it then use it. Definitely go with a very feminine mn though.

I went to college with a girl who went by Drew. Similar story - her dad's name was Andrew and she was named after him. Only they named her Anne Drew LastName. Seriously.
