I had a successful meniscus surgery, but I have to be on crutches for 4 weeks. More complicated than the DR thought. Holy couch potatoes today! PBS has been my friend. My DH was wonderful yesterday, taking care of me and deal w/ DD. I'm waiting for my sister to get here w/ Tylenol and so DD can run around w/ my niece and nephew.

General anesthetic sucks!! I was in recovery for almost 3 hours trying to regain some composure and be able to stand up. I was puking at like 9 pm last night after a 10 am surgery. My body does not like that stuff. Once the anti-nausea meds wore off, it was all over. Next time-ask for anti-nausea drugs to take home!

Good luck to you! I've had combined ACL and meniscus repair surgery twice, so I have felt your pain! Take care of yourself. You'll have nice guns from all the crutches use by the end of the four weeks!
